She finds herself buried in thoughts most days,
too many, she thinks, for optimal health; but there are
countless directions, too much information, misinformation,
potential consequences, future outcomes over which
she has little control, so why not simply let it all go?
She is not made of steel like most of them think, impervious
to slights and hurts, no, her skin is thin and getting thinner,
translucent, one might say, like looking through crystal
into bare anatomy, the heart, organs, kidneys, lungs,
and one day, it seems certain, she will appear to all
(not just herself) naked, but bare in the way of having
no more defenses, and what then? What now?
How to proceed in a world that requires armor,
at least protection from the elements, from one another,
from the painful accusations and realizations that the life
she constructed is hollow, more full of holes than a tree
sculpted by woodpeckers feasting on insects, the food
they must repeatedly hammer for with their heads simply
to nourish the beautiful bodies Creation has lent them
in this life, and here am I, dealing with a longtime
bladder infection, too much stress, too little time
to remember the tides rolling in, then sucking back out
and depositing, leaving heaven knows what
to the vast ocean, the whole that contains all our joys
and all our sorrows;
And I wonder much and discover little I did not already
know in its essence; have I had enough? Learned
all I came here to discover? And yet and still,
earth beckons, grass cries out to have its tedium
of carpet interrupted by islands of shrubs and flowers
I have yet to plant, and so in the end, it is
She who fastens me here, delights me daily, asking
nothing while giving much, and one day, I am certain,
I will return to myself amazed at what is left
on the beach and what is swept back out to sea.

Upolu Point, Hawaii ~ bj 2025
So many emotions we daily face dearest Bela.
Not least, looking at the bare bones of the layers we have experienced and participated in.
When the noise and banter get to much out there in the noisy world.
My go to place has always been to run to our Mother.
The one who feeds, shelters and heals our wounds.
A poignant write Bela.
And from one who used to continually suffer with cystitis.
Cranberry juice and also Barley water can help.
Sending lots of healing thoughts my friend 🧡
And that photo is fantastic. Xx ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
Thanks for your kind words, beautiful one. Yes, cranberry juice and and d-mannose was where I started, and had never heard of barley water, I will throw that into my daily regimen. I see the naturopath again today, trying not to do antibiotics for so many reasons, but tired of losing sleep. So we shall see. Hoping all is well with you and yours, we are in the clutches of insanity over on this side of the pond. So glad we are back in Hawaii, where at least there is a collective feeling of love and goodwill.
Fondest Aloha,
Bela
Hope all goes well with you Bela, and the insanity is both sides of the pond… But I have a feeling all has purpose. It depends upon the scene we are each presented with on both sides… Lots more going on than either of us know..
I know the LIGHT has got this, but the dark has to come to the surface, we always knew that..
You are doing right trying to do without Antibiotics… I got so bad at one point they didn’t even touch it… So I ended up with an opp.. That was 30 years ago… I wouldn’t be so keen to go anywhere near the medical route today… ..
Hang in there…. Sending lots of love my friend xx <3
Many thanks, dearest one. And yes, all has purpose as we know. And the darkness must surface, as we know. And that there’s a lot more going on than anybody can imagine? This we know as well. I would love to see the Galactics interfere, just so more people would get perspective as to their place in the universe. But that is certainly not up to me!
Gosh, I’m sorry for what you went through. My naturopath can order antibiotics, but I still have a feeling that is not the way to go. There’s also another alt medical doc in town who specializes in women’s health. I will check her out if I get nowhere with this woman today. I know my body, and it is frustrating for someone to give me a remedy that doesn’t work, I tell her why it doesn’t work, and she says yeah yeah, take this stronger version of the same remedy. Heaven help us! 🤣 sending love love love!
Today they just look at the computer what was imputed by the Big pharma for a complaint… and give the cheapest option medicines… I ended up with a bladder scrape… But it cured it…
I think the Galactic’s are hovering… Take a look at Pam Gregory’s latest video.. Very interesting… https://youtu.be/vw00F6jof9Q?si=fFb8NO6iSjUk5kSN and the one before that too with of her talk with Nancy Rebecca. All is not lost… far from it.. <3 xx HUGS and much love.. xx <3
PS… Your urine infection a refection of being Peeed off! by the way too … hummm…… just a thought!! Love and HUGS xx 💖
Yes for sure, my friend. I counseled causal medicine for years. So it is of course the first thing I thought of. Can’t blame me eh? 😉 I saw my naturopath today, and it looks like we may be trying ozone therapy next. Looks like that might eliminate the bacteria and also other bacteria undesirables in the blood, heavy metals etc. i’m thinking to start Wednesday, unless I hear a no when I meditate tonight. Can’t ‘think’ of any reason not to.
Indeed the galactics are hovering! The Nancy Rebecca and also the last video? Of hers were just spectacular. I have referred them to several people. We can’t lose hope, I can’t lose hope, the world needs our hope. But I gotta tell you, some days …!!!
Love you my sister.
Yeah… I am sure your body will respond… Once its had a talking too 🙂 haha.. My heart goes out to you, You are already healed ! 😉
And pleased to hear you are already up to date with the succession of video’s… I am certain given what I feel within my heart… We are rising awareness and frequencies…
🙂 Much love returned Bela xx <3
Yes! Clemens! Brilliant interview!
IT was… Glad you enjoyed too xx <3
Profoundly beautiful, Bela.
Yesterday while going through papers that I hadn’t seen for ages I came upon this quote: “Events only become experiences if you pause and reflect. Most people have a lifetime of events.“
Bela, your poem is an experience.
Aloha Paul! Long time no hear from. I trust all is well with you! Thanks for the quote.
Strange times we are living in. Trying to remain sane is enough, yet still trying to visualize a unified world at the other side of this. Blessings, Paul. ♥️
Gorgeous!
🙏🌹♥️Eliza.
The world is too much right now, always maybe, but the earth will always take us in its embrace. (K)
She will, at that. Mahalo, Kerfe. 💗
Your photo is wonderful, as is the whole of this earth with its variety and such energy! You write about human organs on the day my artwork, which is all about the 5 Elements, is published. My post later today, will have a link. Yes, what’s going on in the world is too much and increasingly so! So, we wonder much and discover little, except that Mother Earth is beautiful and delightful and always a nurturer! I return again and again to Mary Oliver’s “Sleeping in the Forest”. She wraps her arms around me. 🤗💓😊
A very thoughtprovoking verse, Bela. I sense angst and anguish.
I suppose we need to have the suppleness to bend with the winds w cannot control and a mindset to stand for something bigger than our ownselves.
Aloha
Aloha Shakti, and thanks for your sage advice. The current politics, though deeply disturbing on one level, are not at the forefront of my consciousness ‘all the time.’ The awareness is present that we must collectively go through this shadow integration. (My training is in Jungian depth psychology, so it is natural to feel this way.)
The poem was written as a challenge in my longtime Renshi poetry group – where one’s last line becomes another’s first – it goes around a circle of 5, at present. So this is ‘what I did with the topic.’ But it’s not untrue, yet neither is it ever- presently true!
Hope all is well with you and yours! Enjoy your global travels – and what a blessing to arrive at that point in life where you’ve made this possible! Wishing you peace and love!
Sorry to hear you are ill but keep the Universe in mind and know that you are a valued part of all that it is. It is difficult, the older one gets, to cope with those health issues that are bound to cross our paths. Your struggle is different than my own for we all suffer that which seems to be beyond our control. Keep walking along the path you have chosen in which to heal and believe it will bring you out to the other side for it is possible.
I am ten years in now from emergency open heart surgery that requires me to take the only blood thinner, Warfarin, that is allowed for artificial heart valves. Long term use of this drug is a two edged sword for side effects continue to come in its wake. I struggle with chronic fatigue that is a constant companion. My struggle is different than your own but has put me on a path from which I cannot veer. You have choices you can and will make to put you on the path of healing and you are stronger than you might imagine that you are.
You are a gifted writer and willing to share your world with those who follow you.
I wish for you all the best and that healing comes to you soon and although antibiotics is not a natural way in which to do things, do not completely rule them out. I would not be here today if they had not used infused antibiotics into my heart as I had Endocarditis which is bacteria gone rampant in your blood that ultimately affects your heart. I am not one who uses antibiotics unless absolutely necessary as I am allergic to most of them but in the instance of my heart, I am still here….very tired most days…and able to see my family that has grown and become some wonderful people and whom I am fortunate enough to see in the process.
Be well, my friend and heal quickly.
I agree with you there on being open to different options to healing. It is so heartwarming to read your story of struggle and healing, Renee. Such experiences make it all the more wonderful and thankful to be around and connect with loved ones.
Oh my heavens, Renee, I have not looked at WordPress in too long! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your kind and thoughtful message to me at this time. You certainly are going through something far more profound than I have been, and you are correct, all of life is instructive, this no less than the rest. I appreciate you sharing your story, most of which I must admit I was oblivious to. You sound like you’re handling it with as much grace as a person could. Sending you many blessings and love. We never know what another is going through unless they choose to share it. I feel honored that you have done that with me. 💗🌹♥️
Hi Bella,
I do hope you have found healing. I miss your writing here. I think of you and continue to keep you in my thoughts.
Renee
Thanks, dear one. Blessings to you! i’m here to add some writing 😉 maybe time to re-enter the stream! xob
A thoughtful write for the times, Bela. I can’t help but agree with your sentiments. ‘countless directions, too much information’ I think that’s he reality we are living in. Everyday something else pops up in the news and world before we can process what has happened yesterday and recently – having an impact on our well-being all round. You write it so well, ‘at least protection from the elements, from one another’. Sure we need protection but I guess these days we are driven to be further apart from each other, something which we have to spend our energy on which could have been spent elsewhere to support ourselves and each other respectfully.
I agree with what Sue said that we face many emotions daily. I like to carve time out to see what’s going on in the news, and then leave it for the rest of the day. There’s only so much to take in. Time for ourselves and away from screens is important – it encourages us to listen to ourselves and what we actually need.
I am sorry to hear that have to deal with infections. It must be hard and I hope you have been managing it, getting in touch with the cause and coming out of it the other end. Sending you much love and light. Many hugs across the many miles, my friend 😊🙏❤
Mabel, thank you so much! I am just now getting back to WordPress. You seem to perceive the condition of the world today similar to how I perceive it. As for the kidney issue, I have dug and dug into the root of the thing, and in the end, I have to realize it was my body’s way of just saying enough enough enough! I definitely go with the traditional Chinese medical way of looking at things, and the kidney is the foundation of life/source qi. Yes, both of us were that tapped out. Moving back to Hawaii was incredibly stressful, while at the same time we realize how lucky we were to have that option! So we did finally buy a little house, and we are finally getting our roots established here again. And I am getting back outside planting trees and gardening, which is my sanity. I am likewise doing cleanses by a company called global healing, working on the liver cleanse right now. 😊 I just cannot go with Western medicine’s idea of attacking an invader. The bacteria have always been in my body, they have just been pretty out of balance. I trust my body will find that balance once again, if I am patient enough!
Sending you armloads of hugs and buckets of blessings! Don’t know when I’ll get back to participating in WordPress more, but I trust it will come in time. 🌹🌴♥️💗
Take your time and heal, Bela. It sounds like you have options and hope you are guided to the one that aligns. Gardening sounds like it is doing you good, and I hope you continue to spend time and find enjoyment being with nature. Wishing you well and lots of Love and Light 🙏❤
Mahalo, Mabel. Many thanks. And yes, being with nature has always been my salvation. We had a lovely straight-down rain last night, so I think I can forego watering this morning 🙂 Enjoy your week! Love back! 😍
Enjoy nature, Bela. Nature heals. Much love to you and enjoy the warmer months ahead ❤
Deep thanks, Mabel. Enjoy your cooler days! 😊
Bela, your writing truly resonates with the current times. I completely share your perspective—there’s an overwhelming amount of information coming at us from every direction, making it hard to process one event before the next one arrives. It’s no wonder this constant flood affects our overall well-being. You capture it perfectly when you mention the need for protection, not just from the world but sometimes from each other. Sadly, it feels like we’re being pushed further apart, and the energy we spend on guarding ourselves could be better used to support one another with kindness and respect.
Thanks so much for your well thought out comment! I am happy to receive it. And yes, further apart until, one hopes, the dice get re-shuffled and we emerge more whole, more inclusive, more free. Always hoping 😉 🙏🏽
