If I Could
If I could be someone else for a day,
what a silly little thing to say; the only
thing useful in doing this would be
I could be you, and you could be me,
eliminating language (as sad as that is),
yet to feel behind words might provide
a slight fizz, as insights we lack
in the pauses between could wax
clearer and cleaner, you know
what I mean?
Stepping into your skin might feel
somber and cool, as a being lacking
spirit is like entering a pool of inky black
water fed by River Styx, and intrigued
as I am, I would not like that mix;
So within my own heart space I choose
to remain, jumping out of my flesh
proves too much of a strain; if your
interest is piqued as to who I might be,
we'll go back to the language,
what is shared, you and me.

I am pleased you have decided to remain as You Bela…. 🙂 Love that photo,, Looks cold and crisp… but fresh and beautiful…
Much love xx <3 and stay snug xx
It is exactly as you describe! Except here in the high desert, the sun shines and nearly all that snow melts within a day or two! And we had 5 inches of it just this morning! Love back, Sue. stay warm and snug yourself! ❤️❤️❤️
💖💕💖
I agree…why would you want to be someone else? (K)
That was the word press prompt. I thought I’d try one out! 😜
I’ve noticed them popping up in the reader but I ignore them.
Yup. I haven’t seen them until I installed JetPack, which will be sistered up with WP on our phones from now on.
Love this response. Nicely done Bela. I haven’t got into the JetPack prompts… yet.
Yup. I think that might be my last one! 🤪😂❤️
